THE STUDY




The Mind the Gap study reached more than 1,500 young people and over 100 sector-specific professionals across five European countries in a comprehensive investigation into the challenges, opportunities, and emotional and mental struggles faced during the transition from school to the workplace. The study found:




55% of young respondents reported emotional distress, influenced by gender, socio-economic status, and sexual orientation
Many feel unprepared due to a lack of practical skills and career guidance.
Family and friends are vital but can also add pressure.



PROJECT PARTNERS
Pro Arbeit is a job center in the Offenbach district that supports job seekers and employers towards labour market integration of the unemployed, and provides financial support to people in need.

Sempre a Frente empowers children and youth with education, therapy, and social programs, building life skills, resilience, and active citizenship since 2010.


AnciLab, in-house company of ANCI Lombardia, provides training, competence validation, and capacity building for PA, manages the Universal Civil Service, and engages in EU initiatives.
From Lleida, Spain, Associació Prosec supports socially excluded individuals, fostering autonomy and personal development by focusing on education, training, and well-being.

No Excuse Slovenia empowers youth to drive positive change through personal growth, active participation, and programs that reduce health inequalities and boost health and environmental literacy.
